OUR BELIEFS
The Holy Bible (II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:19-21)
We believe in the Holy Bible, which is originally composed of the sixty-six books in the Old and New Testament, is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. The Holy Scripture is God’s complete revelation of His will for the salvation of man, and the final authority for all life and practice.
The Triune God (Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in triune God, who eternally exists in three persons –God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, who created all things and accomplished the work of salvation.
Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:22-23; I Corinthians 15:1-4; Hebrews 4:14-16; Acts 1:9-11)
We believe in Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God. He was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary to provide redemption and atonement through His shed blood for mankind. Jesus was crucified on the cross, buried, and was physically resurrected on the third day. After a span of forty days, He ascended to heaven, where he sits at the right hand of God and intercedes for all believers, and will one day return bodily to earth in glory.
Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4; John 16:5-15; Titus 3:4-5; Ephesians 1:13-14)
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who possesses all the distinctively divine attributes of God, as well as His own personality, and serves to convict the world of sin, as well as convince men in the need of the Savior. The Holy Spirit regenerates, baptizes, and seals eternally new believers. He has been sent to indwell, guide, teach, and convict, and empower believers.
The Origin and the Fall of Man (Genesis 1:26-28; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12-21)
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but the whole human race fell in the fall of the first man, Adam. All mankind is lost, darkened in their understanding, and alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, hardened in the heart, morally, and spiritually dead and through their trespasses of sin. Man can only be saved through the atoning work of Jesus Christ.
Salvation (John. 3:16; Romans 5:8; 6:23; Ephesians. 2:8-10)
We believe that salvation has been provided through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross for all mankind; and those who repent and placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, become children of God, and are eternally secured.
The Church (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 5:22-23; Acts 2:42-47)
We believe that church consists of all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ is the head of the church. The church is the body and bride of Christ, for whom Christ loves, and for whom He has given Himself. The local church is a body of believers, who are joined together for worship of God, edification of the Word of God, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and the observances of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
The Second Coming of Christ (Titus 2:13; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Daniel 9:27; Revelation 20:1-10)
We believe in the imminent rapture of believers, the blessed hope of the Church. We also believe that after the rapture, the earth will enter into a seven-year tribulation period. At the end, the Lord will return with His saints to earth to establish His millennial kingdom. At the end of the millennial rule, Satan, together with all unbelievers, will be condemned eternally, and all believers will enter into His kingdom to be with God forever.
